Word Of The Day - Occipital Neuralgia

You don't want to experience this. I couldn't lift my coffee cup or tilt my head far enough to drink it. I'm told it will go away on its own but the duration is 1-25 days.

Can't sit up, can't lie down,
Can't look left or right
Can't look around.
Abra Abra Cadabra
This thing will reach out and grab ya.

Update: Or maybe not. Could be just what we used to call "a crick in the neck." Treated with painkillers and heating pad and have cancelled the order for a fancy powered wheel chair.

Not wanting to be too nosy but what is the cause in your case? How treated?

Apparently getting up in the morning. Made it through the first 45 minutes or so then my neck suddenly felt like someone has stuck something into the muscles on the left side. O.N. was the definition Dr. Internet came up with without much other diagnosis.
Could be wrong, could be something else. Sure hurts though.

Perhaps you should see a real MD - just in case..... :(
Could be a long wait - with no improvement.

I used these guys, http://denverptis.com/, when I needed therapy for a pinched nerve. Their Pearl Street location is right in your neighborhood.
