Found this on Bijou who found it elsewhere so it's now 3rd hand, but it's an interesting bit of medical technology, creating a virus that leaves behind proteins that trigger an immune response to another virus.
What could go wrong?
The problem with the latest variant is that it's frequently difficult to tell if you're actually sick. According to this article in the Mirror, you need to be on the lookout for the following symptoms:
The common signs of Omicron according to the ZOE Covid study are :
Dry/scratchy throat
Runny nose
Sneezing
Mild muscle aches
Fatigue
Other reported signs of the variant have been claimed to include congestion, brain fog, skin rashes, conjunctivitis, nausea or vomiting, with some people also experiencing sleep paralysis and night sweats. Most recently, a Berlin hospital revealed that fainting spells could be a sign of the virus as well.
There are also certain symptoms which require urgent medical attention. The CDC asked people to keep an eye out for pale, grey or blue-coloured skin, lips or nail beds, which could indicate worryingly low levels of oxygen in the blood.
In case any of you haven't noticed, it's currently the beginning of winter, which around here is characterized by cold weather, snow shoveling, and very low humidity. Between the temperature, the shoveling, and the humidity, it's easy to develop most, if not all of the above symptoms. The obvious cure, is to hie thee to a warmer, more humid location. Fiji comes to mind. Just as nice as Vera Cruz, but not controlled by drug cartels.
If you have symptoms described in that last paragraph, you're probably already dead, so don't take them too seriously.
I still hold out hope that a cartel of billionaires will band together and buy a Caribbian island nation, and run it like old Hong Kong as a bastion of capitalism. I'd move there in a heartbeat.
But probably not quite the way you were hoping. HHS will be asking hospitals to cut back on the number of deaths they report as being Covid deaths in advance of the mid terms. It is also expected that mask mandates and lockdowns will be reduced or eliminated. This is expected to last until mid-November.
Maybe not as dangerous as we've been led to believe. First off, consider that the usual death toll from fly has dropped to literally zero for the last 2 years. Now look at this article from no less an authority than the CDC:
Asked on ABC’s “Good Morning America” about a study showing that vaccines targeting COVID-19 and its variants have successfully prevented serious illness, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the head of the Centers for Disease Control, admitted, “The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So, really, these are people who were unwell to begin with.”
Emphasis mine. Over reporting, maybe?
How many comorbidities do you need before the vaccinations themselves become a greater threat than the disease? Makes you go Hmmmm.

I told my wife about this. She was not impressed. My question is weather this is a cause or an effect. Does Viagra improve your cognitive abilities, or is it your cognitive abilities, reacting to some of the effects of aging, that drives you to Viagra?
Here's a piece from WND that suggests that the typical Covid vaccine which by no we know isn't actually a vaccine in the traditional sense, may do its thing at the expense of parts of the rest of your immune system.
Vaccinated people under age 60 are dying from all causes at twice the rate of the unvaccinated in the United Kingdom, according to data compiled by the British government.
"I don’t know how to explain this other than vaccine-caused mortality," wrote former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson on his Substack page.
Note the words "all causes" in there. I would hope that doesn't include things like death due to drunk driving accidents, but you never know. To me it suggests that some of the debilities resultant from getting the vax are a result of a degradation of the immune system, resulting in a higher death rate.
As is usual with Covid related statistics, credibility should be very low, still...
I mentioned some Atrial Fibrillations to my doctor, and I am now fitted with a heart monitor. This is a small (2" high, 1" wide, 3/4" deep) sensor attached with high-strength, waterproof tape to the upper middle of my chest, and a semi-smart phone clipped to my belt. I get to wear this for 30 days. If the sensor company detects anything they think is abnormal, they will call me on my regular cell phone, attached to the other hip, and ask me what's up. If I detect anything I think they should know about, I can use the app on their phone to briefly describe it. All I need is an illuminated star on a hat to complete the Christmas tree similarity.
Could be worse. I had envisioned a complex bunch of wires and sensors, connected to a shoe-box sized device that would detect and report anything that happened to me and download a report on it to my medical file, located somewhere in North Korea.
Imagine this rig detecting something they interpret as a heart attack, and immediately responding with a jolt from the onboard defibrillator. Life saving, no? Imagine going out to an IDPA match wearing this thing, and having it interpret my first 2 shots on a stage as a heart attack. Imagine firing your first 2 shots on the first target, and having the defibrillator kick in as you line up on the second one, causing you to run the next 8 or 9 rounds off at 600 rpm. The good news I guess would be that when you empty your magazine, the machine would interpret this as successful treatment of the heart attack, and shut itself off. The bad news is that standard mag capacity for a pistol caliber carbine, such as I shoot, is 30 rounds. I suppose I would be grateful that no one makes a magazine for my gun bigger than 16 rounds.
Saturday, we will see if the sensor I'm wearing is affected by gunfire.
Sooner or later, we all die. Data from Massachusetts suggests that later is still a good estimate.
More than 4.3 million Massachusetts residents out of the state’s population of about 6.9 million have been vaccinated. One hundred breakthrough deaths, therefore, represent 0.002 percent of all fully vaccinated individuals.
The 82.5-year-old median age of the deaths is about five years older than the U.S. average life expectancy, which is 77.3 years old as of last year.
Can I interpret this to suggest that if you get vaccinated, then catch the Kung Flu anyway, you're likely to live about 5 years longer than average? Or would that be statistic abuse?
A report on Breitbart says that some 20% of migrants apprehended along the border are testing positive for covid. They also say that the July take was about 200,000 so we are currently importing some 40,000 covid cases per month.
And this is based only on apprehensions. I wonder what the actual total of illegal crossings is?
So when you see the numbers for total new cases each month, don't forget, 40K of those were imported by Biden.

Let's play a bit of "What If" shall we?
Suppose some hostile country mounted a biological warfare action against us. Say they had developed a fast-spreading disease with a 3-5% mortality rate among senior management types. Let's say they started spreading it using widely traveled vectors in the international business community who would be the most likely to come in contact with the senior management types they wanted to target.
Here's what a caseload graphic might look like:
It seems that it might be 2-4 months before anyone who mattered actually noticed, and about a year before the maximum effects would hit. At this point, you should have your pre-vaccinated troops ready to rectify whatever borders you want, facing a demoralized enemy with its leadership significantly reduced. If your troops can offer a vaccine, however unproven, to your new citizens, they might even be happily welcomed, especially if the actual source of the disease can be adequately hidden. The NYT produced a graphic suggesting that a Covid vaccine might take as long as 10 years to produce in quantity, assuming standard super cautious methodology favored by the FDA.
A biological war would therefore, be very slow at the start, be very confusing in the middle, and fairly quickly done with at the end.

First off let me emphatically state that I am NOT a doctor. I have been reading medical papers and watching the Covid fiasco unfold. Here's some stuff I've uncovered. Dr Pierre Korey gave some interesting testimony to the U.S. Senate before the video feed was cut off. Here it is. Watch it.
Let us suppose that you are somewhere in line holding a ticket with a number in scientific notation, for your turn at a shot of vaccine, that you find yourself showing symptoms of the dreaded Chinky-Pox. What to do? First call your doctor, who may have something on his shelf for you. If you get told to self-quarantine and drink chicken soup, keep reading. Desperate people do desperate things. I plan to.
The following is NOT medical advice. It's what I plan to do if I find myself showing C-19 symptoms. I'm in a high-risk category and don't feel like taking chances with the Pox.
Run down to Murdocks, or whomever it is that sells farm and ranch supplies, and in the Equine section, find the display of Ivermectin. It's a paste, comes in a syringe with a plunger calibrated in pounds body weight, and contains enough to treat a 1250 lb horse. There are several brands ranging in price from $4 to $16. Reading the labels, I couldn't see any other difference. It's apple flavored so the horses like it. You can mix it with a bit of applesauce to make it go down easier if you like. Squeeze out enough for your body weight, and slurp it down. Wait 48 hours, then repeat. At least one protocol suggests adding a zinc supplement and an antibiotic. The antibiotic is precautionary, and your doctor may go along with this. This should do it. Save the rest for your family as they may soon be needing it as well. If you're not better in 5 days, see your doctor.
It's approved for human use. Show the document at the link to your doctor. Get his opinion. Remember, I am NOT one.
Side effects here although they don't mention the dosage being used. Some of those diseases may require different amounts. Healthline also suggests that certain groups of people might have bad reactions to ivermectin, based off of other health conditions. These conditions include: people with asthma, people who have seizures, people with HIV, and people with liver problems.
Ivermectin is an FDA-approved anti-parasitic drug also shown to be effective in vitro against viruses including HIV, dengue and influenza. In vitro dosages frequently bear little connection to in vivo dosages.
Here, down in the comments, is a note from a user referring to "4 pills" used twice. No idea what size pills he used, and the only source I found for Ivermectin in pill form was doggie heartworm pills which seemed to contain the exact same ingredients as the equine paste. Again # of pills is proportionate to body weight. They're also quite expensive compared to the horse paste.

What used to be done with a couple of drinks is now done with a small chip that drives LED lights implanted into the brain. The lights stimulate the right parts of the brain, and out comes a better attitude. So in the future, when you see someone with a glint in their eyes, it may be artificially induced.
Who knows, it may even help with night vision.

Health care professionals. The stuff goes to the hospitals so they need to be dealt in but...

I found an interesting article at medical express today suggesting that a new drug might be a quick cure for numerous debilities of mental decline. I've seen reports of breakthroughs of this sort before but nothing ever seems to come of them. Presumably the drugs are doled out to highly placed politicians which keeps them in office for abnormally lengthy periods and accounts for them only leaving their office feet first.
One of my friends wondered if this might be speeded up in time to do Slow Joe Biden any good, and if it did become available, if the VP would attempt to interfere. This could set up a behind-the-scenes catfight between the VP and the 1st lady.
There's the basis for a good political thriller: The 1st lady invites
the female VP over for tea, and shortly thereafter the VP succumbs to
something which the surgeon General labels "Covid". Said Surgeon General
then moves into the VP slot and rumors begin to circulate that he and
the 1st lady might be more than just friends. The president, who is
doing well to remember his wife's name, provides distractions and comic
relief.
Not being a big fan of this sort of literature, I have no idea who might be qualified to write such a thing. Might even make the basis for a dark sitcom along the lines of "Fresno".
