QOTD Chicago Style

From Radio Free New Jersey:
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, in reaction to the murder of 6 month old Jonylah Watkins, said he would not rest until every Republican in the country has to surrender their guns.
Emphasis mine. And here I thought the gangs were mostly Obama voters. Who knew?.

H/T Oleg Volk, in whose home country disarming the political opposition has a long and colorful history.

Emphasis mine.

Except that Rahm Emanuel never said that.

The burden is upon you. You claimed that Rahm Emanuel said that

> he would not rest until every
> Republican in the country has
> to surrender their guns.

and went so far as to emphasis the bogus quote.

You incestuously link to another blog, which does not contain your bogus quote.

What that douche-bag 0leg Volk wrote was

> That tells us that their real goal
> isn’t disarming the criminals but
> disarming everyone they view as
> potential political opposition
.

But the link from Volk's page does not support your false claim.

Volk incestuously links to something called "Radio Free New Jersey", which wrote that

> Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, in
> reaction to the murder of 6 month
> old Jonylah Watkins, said he would
> not rest until every Republican in
> the country has to surrender their
> guns.

Except that it's not a quote. The folks at "Radio Free New Jersey" just made it up. If you follow the link from RFNA to "DNA Info", what Rahm Emanuel actually said was

> "The child is truly innocent," Emanuel
> said. "Everybody has a role to play to
> make sure every child is in a safe city,
> in a safe neighborhood, in a safe
> community, on a safe street.
>
> "I will not rest until every child grows
> up in that environment," Emanuel added.

The burden is not upon me to prove that Rahm Emanuel did not say something he did not. That's a logical impossibility.

The burden is upon you to prove that Rahm Emanuel said what you claim he said.

If you'd stop watching Fox News and stop reading right-wing blogs every now and then, maybe you'd know that. Maybe checking your sources would help, too, before mindlessly parroting something simply because it reinforces your f***ed up world view. Facts and integrity are a foreign concept to conservatives.
