This last weekend Milady and I will be journeying to Snowmass to help run the Highland Games, formerly the Highlands Ranch Highland Games. The Highlands Ranch subdivision having priced us out of their market, they now get to use the park for something else.
We will be working on Saturday and Sunday which means we need to be up there on Thursday for some reason, and can't come back until Monday. Preparations are running like a WWII submarine dive drill orchestrated by Chuck Jones and the 3 Stooges. Departure will be late in the morning to allow for Facebook updates, last minute changes to the volunteer rosters, which Milady is in charge of, and other fol-de-rol. This may even include mowing the lawn although at this late date the grass has pretty much stopped growing for the summer.
