When I went in for my CCW interview, the big stumbling block was the high-tech all electronic fingerprint machine which seemed to have a very difficult time finding a match between any one fingerprint and the four-finger set. The nice lady eventually got the machine to recognize me and I jokingly told her that if anything went wrong, she could get the backup set from the Chinese.
I was right.
