I believe a case can be made that raising the minimum wage has in the past hurt minorities much more than the general working force.
It also discriminates against those looking to enter the work force.
And just incidentally favors those dues-paying, candidate contributors, those organized labor union types.
I don't see these gaffes as disqualifying Hilary. Heck, I would have thought the world watching her stand by while the Bill and Monica show played out would have disqualified her. And then there was the whole "We can't get elected in our home Arkansas -- let's chase the money in New York!" expression of loyalty and respect for others.
I bet she regrets ever listening to Obama in the 2008 primary season. Which is another little issue I have with her integrity. Not to mention standing with President Obama while touting the goals of the ATF gunwalker program as having been an accomplished fact without admitting government sponsorship of the whole program.
I figure as long as Bill doesn't look too senile, yet, in public, she still has a chance. It ain't no worse than the everlasting "Next Good Old (white) Guy in Line" the Republicans trot out. And doesn't make much more sense for the country.
