No, it's not my birthday, it's the blogs. It's 17 years old today, celebrating along side of Earth Day and Lenin's Birthday. Such exalted company. Those of you who still follow me may have noticed that I haven't been posting much lately. In fact, this is my first post this year!
My commentary has moved to Face Book, so it's still there, although much reduced. Tales of repairing old motorcycles and the like. Also occasional observations on the deplorable state of humanity. If I come up with a controversial enough thought, (Controversial? Moi?), I'll put it here to avoid the dreaded FaceBook Gulag.

That's a shame. Blogging is dying, being consumed by media which censors us and tries to play gatekeeper of truth.
Of course, Blogger being run by Google isn't much better so there's that...but I don't have and won't have a facebook account so I guess I won't see most of what you post.
No worries, I'll still check in from time to time, and I don't expect people to change their gameplan just because of one old stubborn curmudgeon who doesn't like to play the games.
I wish you well over there, may you find a million followers.
