The Future of Transportation, Bicycles

Here's an article on a fellow who has built a vibro-massage into a bicycle seat, ostensibly to keep the circulation going in your butt on long rides.

Mmm-Kay.

Suggestion: Mount the control box on the handlebars, and make it look more like a radio. Include a radio to make it sound more like a radio. Put the speakers under the seat to drown out / augment the buzzing.

The possibilities are endless.

Is there a massager for the pedals? Maybe active, to pulse the leg at the same point in each cycle. Make it adjustable, to 'time' the pulse for either accelerating or maintaining the pace?

Back years agone, I had a pair of pant clips. Small steel spring doohickeys that let me fold my jeans close to the leg, and clip the cloth so it stayed out of the chain and gears (and grease).

I can't find any around here. How seriously could bicycle makers be, if they can't even keep pants clips around? (Don't ask about the bike shorts that fit 40 pounds back. I don't know where they got to.)

But if bicycles are coming back - do you have a good public domain plan for a bike stand for public buildings and stores? I might try welding up a few, just in case the market develops.
