Party Of The Rich Demands Subsidy From The Poor

Here in Colorado, the power company, Xcel energy, has been asked to begin setting up a wide network of charging stations for the anticipated surge in electric vehicles. Zcel has estimated this would cost some $130M to do and suggests that the cost simply be blended into everyones utility bill.

I eagerly anticipate a requirement for a statewide network of gas stations to supply free gas to motorists, paid for by a tax on the O&G industry.
