This isn't exactly late-breaking news, but the cops now have a hand-held doppler radar gun that can make out individuals inside a house. If this bothers you, I recommend you get a big piece of cardboard and attach to it the tinfoil cutout image of something the cops might find entertaining. An orgy for example. Cover the other side with something more socially acceptable like flowered upholstery or wallpaper, and place the construction against your street-facing interior wall with the wallpaper on the inside.
Done right, the guffaws of laughter from the outside will give the game away long enough for you to hide in the basement until they leave.

It's a lovely idea - but doppler radar doesn't work that way. It only sees stuff that's moving. (Police monitoring vehicle speed use doppler radar. If you're parked, you won't show up.)
Now if you programmed some robots to make obscene movements ...
O.K. so make some jointed cutouts and drive them with a low-speed electric motor.
This is what the Israelis were using to tunnel through buildings a few years ago in Gaza. That what they did not have to go out on the streets. Scan the wall, see where the people are, blow a hole, rinse and repeat.
So that means they really could see the orgy in progress??? :) Now I'll have to be more careful when the girls come over.
